KRONIA Terms of Service

Welcome to KRONIA, a private digital memory book created to help parents and guardians preserve moments, photographs and stories from a child’s life. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the KRONIA mobile application and related services.
KRONIA is provided under the PAXINTU brand by Luděk Kašparovský, a sole trader established in the Czech Republic (“we”, “us” or “PAXINTU”). By creating an account or using KRONIA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who may use KRONIA
KRONIA is intended for adults, including parents and legal guardians, who are authorized to create and maintain a private memory book about a child. It is not designed for children to register or manage their own accounts.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide photographs and personal information about the child and other people featured in your book.
2. Your account
To use KRONIA, you create an account using an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity occurring under your account. Please provide accurate account information and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
KRONIA is designed around one child’s memory book per account. Your content is associated with your account and is not a public social profile or shared feed.
3. The KRONIA service
KRONIA lets you record and organize memories, text and photographs in a series of digital books. Available features may include editing entries, managing photos and exporting books as PDF files.
We may improve, maintain or update the service over time. Certain features require an active KRONIA PRO subscription. We will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes where appropriate.
4. FREE and KRONIA PRO
The FREE version lets you create the cover and birth page of Book I, add up to eight moments, and export Book I as a PDF including those pages and moments. An active KRONIA PRO subscription unlocks moments 9–20 in Book I and additional books with up to 20 moments each. PDF export is available to both FREE and KRONIA PRO users.
Each book can contain up to 20 moments. Features and limits shown inside the app at the time of use form part of the service description.
5. Subscriptions and automatic renewal
KRONIA PRO is available through automatically renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions offered via the Apple App Store or Google Play. The currently configured U.S. reference prices are $3.99 per month and $39.99 per year. The actual price and currency applicable to you are displayed in the app marketplace before you confirm a purchase and may vary by country, taxes or applicable store pricing.
Your subscription begins once the store confirms your purchase. Unless canceled, it automatically renews for the same subscription period at the applicable renewal price, subject to the store’s terms and any required notices or consent. The store charges your designated payment method. PAXINTU does not collect your payment-card details.
You can manage or cancel your subscription using your Apple or Google account’s subscription settings. Canceling prevents future renewals but generally does not end access immediately: PRO access normally continues until the end of the already-paid billing period, subject to marketplace rules and any refund or billing changes.
Deleting the KRONIA app or account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To avoid future charges, cancel the subscription separately in your app marketplace account.
Any trial, introductory price, promotion or price change applies only if specifically displayed and offered to you by the relevant marketplace. The purchase screen and the marketplace’s checkout confirmation control the amount and terms of the individual purchase.
6. Payments, refunds and consumer rights
Purchases, billing, cancellations and refund requests are handled by the marketplace through which you subscribed, in accordance with its procedures and applicable law. For a subscription purchased through Apple, use Apple’s subscription and refund services; for Google Play, use Google Play’s applicable services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory consumer rights or legal remedies available to you under applicable law, including rights relating to digital services or statutory withdrawal rights where they apply.
7. Your content and permissions
You retain the rights you hold in the photographs, text and other material you add to KRONIA. We do not claim ownership of your family memories. You grant us only the permissions necessary to host, process, display, back up where applicable, and generate exports from your content for the purpose of operating the service.
You must not upload material that violates another person’s rights or applicable law. You are responsible for the content you choose to store and for obtaining any necessary consent or authority to use it.
Your child’s photographs and personal information are not used by us for advertising, profiling, facial recognition or biometric identification, as described in the KRONIA Privacy Policy.
8. Privacy and protection of information
Our handling of personal information is described in the KRONIA Privacy Policy. Because KRONIA may contain sensitive family memories, we encourage you to safeguard your account and to keep copies of any content that is especially important to you.
9. PDF exports and your backups
Both FREE and KRONIA PRO users can export their available books as PDF files. FREE users can export Book I with the cover, birth page, and up to eight moments. KRONIA PRO users can also export Book I with unlocked moments 9–20 and additional books. Export appearance and output depend on the content, photographs, layouts and technical capabilities supported by the app.
KRONIA is not a guaranteed permanent archive or a substitute for independent backups. We recommend retaining your own copies of important photographs, documents and exported books.
10. Availability and service changes
We work to provide a reliable service, but continuous and error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, connectivity, technical issues or third-party service providers.
We may change features or discontinue parts of the service for legitimate technical, security, legal or operational reasons, subject to applicable law and your statutory rights. We will provide any notices required by law.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse KRONIA, attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems, interfere with the service, upload malicious material, or use the service in violation of applicable law or the rights of others.
12. Account and data deletion
You can permanently delete your KRONIA account in the app via Menu → Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, follow the instructions on the KRONIA Account Deletion page.
Deleting your account results in deletion of the associated KRONIA content from our systems, subject to limited retention required by law or otherwise described in the Privacy Policy. Account deletion is generally irreversible. Remember to cancel any active app-store subscription separately.
13. Responsibility and limitations
We provide KRONIA with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for disruptions outside our reasonable control or losses arising from misuse of the service or failure to maintain independent copies of important content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or affects mandatory rights and remedies available to consumers.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in KRONIA or applicable legal requirements. The current version will be available on this page together with its effective date. Where required, we will notify you of material changes and obtain any necessary agreement.
15. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the laws of their country of habitual residence where applicable. Any dispute resolution or jurisdiction arrangements remain subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
If you have a concern, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it. You may also have access to statutory consumer complaint and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
